Re: at a Mountain Bike Tour - light fog

a rape field happens to bright yellow and a gray sky is just gray - which is very difficult to detect in fact with the fog, because the camera the naturally smooth irons and this explains the gray sky - sorry

Whoa. I think you're misinterpreting what I'm saying.

I like the photo.

I simply didn't notice the title of your post - which would have explained to me that the "sky" was in fact "fog". I'm the one in the wrong here.

There's nothing wrong with the image whatsoever.

The internet is a poor conduit for humour. Apologies for any unintentional offence.

Re: My Panasonic GH3 at our annual Asian Kite Festival

Used 12-35mm f/2.8 lens, 1080/30p 50Mbps IPB MOV, ISO 1000, Auto White Balance, and Natural Picture Style.  Rode Videomic Pro compact shotgun mike for sound.

( Accidentally had i.Dynamic on, and set to Standard.  My camera is new, and I had been experimenting with its settings the previous day, and forgot to turn it off. )

Re: Seeing in black and white

The second image made me wonder, what if Thomas Merton was a marathoner.

Galveston Bathing Beauty review

Harsh conditions, but nothing the E-M5, the 75/1.8 and an ND filter couldn't handle.

Bah! He was the puppet master in a papist plot to corrupt American youth. No strength whatsoever.

Re: *** Northwest, Southwest, Far East

Thanks for the kind comments. Appreciate the support. I feel some of the photos are over-saturated  but that's me, not the camera.

But he was a very good writer, a good student of Buddhism, and his monastery makes some fine cheese.  https://www.gethsemanifarms.org/default.aspx

Wow.

That is easily the best shot in this thread IMHO. Really lovely, soft and subtle toning.

Beautiful.

Only to shop at Madison Band Supply and run marathons. (My niece and her husband own MBS) It's very popular with dead monks.
