Unbeatable image resolution for that size and price
3

I have been using this handy sized camera for aerial fotography in the mountains. Since then I left my DSLR at home. I usually have good lightening conditions ISO ranging between 100...400. The images are really sharp not that kind of sharpness resulting from algorithms but natural sharpness on pixel level. Each pixel has its own color information. So you might see a gray pole just one pixel width in front of green trees. It makes fun to take pictures just because of the level of detail. And the details are available at F2.8 and in the image corners. But what else can be said?

Yes, you need some more spare batteries and keep them warm in winter. This is a bit annoying and I think more before I switch on to shoot. Low light: I have not tried so far but long time exposures are certainly not the strength. The handy size is a great advantage for me in the cockpit as well as for the street photographer. I will definitely take it with me on my next trip to Asia. In few high light scenes I can spot cyan and magenta colored areas. This is annoying but I hope for an software update. So there is a risk that colors are not perfectly reproduced under high light conditions like shooting against direct sun light. I am not missing a zoom range since the resolution allows digital crops of sufficient quality.

This is an unscaled crop.

Another unscaled crop. Note the cement joints.

Another crop showing reproduction of red tones.

Great match of sensor and lens.  Reminds of rangefinder film era with fixed lens, whether a Canonet or Konica 35mm camera or a Fuji Texas Leica.

Very interesting, I can clearly see the cement joints between the bricks on the clocktower. I was curious how so much detail could fit into such a small image. So I downloaded the image to my computer and zoomed in. To my surprise the joints disappears as one zooms in on the pixels. Very cool!
