Early evening at Kensington park w/ OM-D5 & 75mm lens, Part One

Yesterday evening, around 6:30pm, I visited Kensington Metropark in Milford, MI for the first time this year. It's also the first time I've taken photos there since mid-2011. Now that my nerve compression issues are history, thanks to my skilled surgeon (shout out to Dr. Jacobs!), taking photos no longer results in days of arm/shoulder pain and neck stiffness. Unless you've experienced this yourself you can't imagine how great it feels to longer have to experience it. The surgery has given me a new lease on my creative life.

Anyway, here are some snapshots from my 2-mile walk, all taken with the OM-D5 and 75mm f/1.8 lens.

Early evening at Kensington park w/ OM-D5 & 75mm lens, Part Three

And the last two:

The boardwalk just before sunset

Now that I know I can take a two-hour + walk with a camera hanging around my neck, it's photo travel time!

Sorry for posting over three separate messages. DPR wouldn't let me put 'em all in one.

First and foremost, congratulations on getting back out there!

This lens really delivers the goods; I'll look forward to seeing more of your work with it (must resist temptation, must resist....) Agreed that these little system cameras and lenses are a joy to tote compared to lugging a big slr.

Cheers,

Rick
