Running Nikon ViewNX2 on an Atom-based Win8 tablet?

I'm looking to buy a Windows 8 tablet, and my requirements are best served by an atom-based tablet. I know they are relatively slow for anything but basic usage, but I don't have luxury of waiting until Haswell or Bay trail arrive with much better performance.

I'm using Capture NX2 as my RAW converter because I like the fact that the camera settings are processed by Capture. I would thus like to run View NX2 to be able to view the pictures I have taken during day when I'm on trips.

However I'm a bit worried that view NX2 will be too slow to be useful at all so therefore I would like to hear your experiences:

Is it an acceptable experience or is it decidedly dreadfull?

Btw, I'm using a Nikon D7000 that produce 16MP NEF files.

Thanks in advance.
