Canon inkjets: maximum paper length
I happen to own several inkjet Canon printers, of various "degrees". I recently tried to print on a paper stripe approximately 150 x 1000mm, but Canon drivers report that the maximum paper length is somewhere above 600mm.
Is there any workaround?
If your printer has a banner printing option, I think Qimage allows printing to any length. Qimage trial software is available for download so you can see if it works for you before spending $. You may wish to post your question to the Qimage forum here, http://www.ddisoftware.com/tech/
Your only chance would be to find a RIP that supports longer lengths with your printer. PrintFab which helps for some Epson printers has the same 23 inch limit for Canon printers.
