Canon 135 F2 goes to Cowboy Festival
It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.
These are great shots.
I'm toying with the idea of getting this lens or the 50mm 1.4 with the 600 flash unit.
Can't quite decide which way to go but after seeing those pictures, it's making me want to pick up this lens first and get the 50mm later.
I had the 50mm 1.4 and was not impressed with my copy (purchased new) and I sold it. I doubt I'd ever sell my 135 f2 it never ceases to amaze me. the prion price it's a real bargain! My advice buy the 135 f2 or rent it and you will see for yourself grow good it is. The background blur is creamy and the picture sharp and colors and contrast beautiful! If it only has I.S. ! The only negative is the focal length is a bit long Especially on a crop camera.
Superb photos. Nice composition.
Though I am not sure how I could use that focal length, I desire to own that lens soon.
Wonderful shots, I like the first three ones with the classic look most...
Very well composed and detailed images. My favorite is the lassoo instruction #6. The B+W fits very well with the theme. I bet it was a fun event to shoot. Thanks for posting I'm so bored by all the gear talk when I visit DPR lately.
