situation is unreal. rarely person would shoot at such situation in normal shooting. only do test for reference and long exposure shooting.

shoot in almost pitch black (no light). need to use flashlight to see money, laugh. shots exposed to something around normal exposed pictures. 2 sets at iso 6400 and iso 12800.

1st set: iso6400

iso 6400 - 30 seconds exposure at f5.6

iso 6400 - 30 seconds at f2.8. pulled exposure

iso 6400 - processed picture with sharpening and noise reduction. user preference (result vary from user to user preference)

you do know that instead of exposing to the right and then adjusting to the left in PP, you could also just stick to a lower ISO?
Mm, thats not the point. As long as ISO is native (not software ISO), if you overexpose by +1 and then pull back in post-processing, you should get cleaner photo.

It works on most cams as long as you stay within native ISO. Which makes one think how high is native ISO of NX300. If these tests are real, its really one crazy good camera..

For example D3s has ISO 200-6400 native ISO, everything else is just software pull/push.

From these tests it seems that NX300 has native ISO including 12800? That would be truly insane.

Considering ISO and exposure lenght, those are far better than I would expect.

Thank you for your effort, that is a lot of testing photo you have posted.

thank you. just happy with picture quality with camera and want to share. but camera need bug fix. but not bad and can be used, just not perfect yet. perfect is nirvana. new cameras always have bug gift from manufacturers, laugh.
