Girl portrait for extraction & play

I think this is quite a challenging extraction to turn it into a nice portrait. I would appreciate it if you could also post the uncropped B&W mask that you finally used for the extraction. Thanks...

Did'nt do an extraction Sunshine Boy "sorry" got rid of the window very distracting did a bit of blending here and there and then cheated a little by painting back some hair.

Thanks Patsy. VERY good work on the b/g and on her face but her hair looks graying all over... She is only 18 and her hair color is light brown as in the bottom right corner of the image...

I painted over the highlights with black on the left and then smudged some new hair strands.  Then I replace the background in Lighten mode.

I extracted generally with Remask and the blue channel and traced the fine hairs using Quick Mask, some skin smoothing, sharpening and placed on a gradient-filled BG.
