Expensive, bur worth it!!
To be quite honest, I don't know what I could tell you about this camera that you doesn't really know.
What do I like about it? Superb high ISO images. Small enough to fit in my pants pockets. Nice colors/WB and tonality. Very effective in-camera HDR, and very cool Panorama function.
What I don't like? Hum... Expensive. Slippery. Battery drains quickly. An electronic viewfinder would be more than welcome!
Beside those minor complaints, I love this camera. With the RX100 in my pocket and my Nikon D600 in by backpack, nothing can go wrong!

FWIW I changed AF mode to DMF (Direct Manual Focus) so the camera doesn't constantly auto-focus when it's turned on, which apparently is a major drain on the battery.
