I have my D30 for six months and find the camera fine for normal use and sports photographs even under bad floodlight conditions. The image quality is also good but the colours can lack punch.
Problems:
It is a nightmare with flash. I have the 550EX and a sigma 17-35 but have constant problems balancing flash exposure under the same lighting conditions.
