Sony Mavica FD-95 review

It was my first digital camera. I´ve had this camera for 14 months and I was very satisfied with it for my amateur and learning shots. Is a good digital camera. The best is the 10x zoom. The floppy adapter with memory stick is very good and it decreases the annoying noise when read/write a diskette. But with the memory stick floppy adapter is very slow for me.

Now, I just trade ir for a new Nikon Coolpix 995 to improve quality pictures. I´ll be lacking the 10x zoom.

It comsumes a lot of time recording one image althought the 4x speed diskette drive, the same with videos or audio files. With memory stick floppy adapter is more time. It´s imposible to take burst shots. Also, I´ve made a comparision between other similar digital cameras and the quality image of this mavica is mainly poor than the others (probably by the great pics compression).

You can´t set manually in one shot both aperture and shutter priority.

This camera is not good with moving images (racing cars, motorcycles, ...). And you have to develop a technique with the shutter button.

Night shots have a lot of noise.
