Pentax EI-200 review
The Camera is easy to use, with all the functionality of a normal SLR without the Lens aspect. Natural daylight images are captured with realism, although there can be moire problems. The images are easily downloaded as there isn't really a need for special software, just a USB port. The focusing is pretty accurate and quick. Feels like and handles like a normal compact camera, unlike some with obvious look and feel of a digital camera, Having a normal view finder makes it easier to take pictures is dark environments. Still enjoying it some 2500 images later, even after purchasing a Canon D30.
The battery life is very poor, best using Ni-MH rechargeables.
Auto-light balance sometime gets lost. Noise problems at night, better choosing ISO speed manually. Sometime the Camera locks and you need to pull the batteries to resolve problem.
