Taked about 2000 shots with this and.. its good. Not great, but good. My previous (and i still have it) camera was 2100UZi. Compared to that i miss EVF and easy-to-use.. more buttons -> not have to go to menus so often. Image quality its good, but i still think 2100 has better. Maybe because it have IS, but anyway. IQ should be much better, or at least i tought it was.. no, its not bad. EVF its great that i've miss it already MUCH! When i can see thru EVF all settings like aperture, shutter and all that i need.. with optical i can see only the people whom i've "shooting"..
3x zoom is more that useless. Its great when i have to shot objects near me, but lacks a lot when have to shot objects more than 10-15meters (30feets).
I'm still happy with this camera. 4mpix should make better prints and this takes a lot less size to carry than 2100. This is the camera i try to carry with me as much as possible.
Good in this camera is:
- Olympus Quality to make cameras
- Noise reduction
- Pixel mapping
- F1.8 (great lowlight shots)
- 4mpix
- Image Quality after all
- Grip. It really feels great in your hands
Problems:
- Lens cap issue (like everybody says)
- IQ Could be better (for canon ixus users this _is_ heaven, but but bit disappointment to 2100 users
)
- Some shots got 'visible pixels'.. like you enlarge your image to 300% and you really can see the pixels side by side. (it somethimes make this. about 1% pictures has this).
