Sony Mavica CD200 review
This camera has treated me very well. It has all the features an ameteur photographer could ask for as well as plenty of automatic features for when you just want to muck around with your friends. Takes decent shots at night, white balance is versatile, zoom is nice, stores tons of pictures per cd, macro is great, and best of all - all the features are very easy to access while the (good sized) screen isn't cluttered with them like some other digicams.
MINUSES:using cd's for media has it's downside.
-Since the CD200 doesn't have a huge cache, taking photos at full res can't be done rapidly. 2 shots can be taken in about a second, but after that you have to wait while it writes to CD.
-Shutter lag is only an issue in low light while the auto focus figures things out. (otherwise it's pretty quick)
-Low light photos can be a little grainy, but it's not the end of the world... use a the flash and watch your wb.
