Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P50 review

This camera has been at Sony for service for five months - back and
forth "couldn't find anything wrong with it" they say. It dies again,
back it goes. This last time, they finally acknowledged the battery and
charger need to be replaced - took them 5 months and suddenly both
items are at fault? Please!! Sony service is the WORST.

The camera itself, when we have it and when it works, works pretty
well, no specific complaints, except the lens cap is a pain to keep taking
off/putting on. Indoor photos could be better - bit too grainy/dark.
Outdoor photos, in my opinion, are good to excellent - beautiful colour,
good blow-ups.

Terrible battery consumption on all levels. Sony service absolutely
pathetic. Would never buy another Sony camera, simply because of the
service track record. We just bought a new Pentax this weekend.
