Fujifilm MX-600 Zoom review

I have had my MX-600 Zoom for many years now. Bought it in Singapore, where consumer electronics are cheap. When I bought it it was state of the art and very feature rich. There are, compared to todays digital cameras, not a whole lot of buttons and features. It's easy to use, the image quality is great. Light, white ballance etc. can be adjusted manually - but it's very combersome.
Back then it was a good camera, but it's slow and very noisy.

The MX-600 Zoom uses SmartCard Flash memory. I have had some problems when reading the SmartCard after taking some photos. I believed that it was the SmartCard so I bought a new SmartCard. Unfortunately it's the camera that messes up the pictures. In the small display on the camera everything looks fine, but when reading the image into the PC - strange things happens. Pictures you have taken long long time ago suddenly start to form in the background of a newly taken picture. The pictures are cut and divided into several scrambled areas.
