Olympus D-510 Zoom (C-200 Zoom) review

This was my first digital camera. I choosed to buy this model after reading any reviews available at that time on Internet. Now I can make some user review about it. The camera itself is a good bargain, if found at discounts. It's a pretty simple camera, which provides good quality images if used in places with a lot of sunlight. If used in shadows or anyways in low light, the contrast and looks of the picture drastically lowers (but this is valid for any camera). The 1600x1200 pixel mode (2.1 Mpix) is enough for photo prints and for displaying on the computer.

Unfortunatelly I have encountered problems with this camera. First of all, the display went black&white and this couldn't be fixed at the Olympus dealer in my area. Then, the sliding door covering the lens, which also turns on and off the camera, got used and now if you slightly push the cover than the camera shuts down - very annoying. More recently, the LCD gone totally blank .. it does not display anything anymore.
