I've now had the camera for one full year and I'm very satisfied with it. At the speed technology evolves, I was afraid that this camera would age quickly when I purchased it. One year later, its features still exceed competing and more recent products on the market.
During this last year, I really put it through its paces and it has completely lived up to its promises. The range of images is excellent. While it could benefit from having an image stabilizer, this problem is easily circumvented by using the "burst of pictures" feature. Great zoom. The battery life is extremely durable, with up to 300 pictures per battery. I would recommend re-reading the users manual after having used the camera for a few months - it will allow you to have a better grasp of all its features.
Problems:
This being an american-made product, it travels well in North America. If you have any technical difficulties while travelling in Europe, it will be almost impossible to find knowlegeable help in camera shops.
