Fujifilm FinePix S3500 Zoom review

This is my first digi cam and I have had this camera for a week and given it a thorough workout. Have fully read manual and I now know and have used all of its capabilities.

Some comments
In point and shoot auto mode the images are clean, The colours of wooden fence, tree ferns and pink and white and mauve flowers are very close to actual colours.
No sign of CA as yet.

I was impressed with the way it captured the colours and light and shade accurately of a swathe of tree ferns in auto mode.

I bought this budget 6x optical zoom 4 MP camera because of its good reviews especially a review in a local PC mag that reviewed 47 digicams in November and rated this camera the best value for money they had ever seen in spite of its limitations.

Getting used to having to pop up flash manually when light conditions need a flash.

There is no manual focus (but the auto focus seems to do the job well for a point and shoot user like me)
