Sigma SD10 review

More than one year and 8000 images with my SD10 and I am still happy. This is great camera which delivers clear 3D look and native sharpness not possible with any other Bayer sensor;

images resizable up to 6-8 megapixel equivalent of conventional cameras; 30*45 cm print size is no problem at all;

easily convertable for IR photography;

supports 4Gb cards and microdrives;

robust body; easy in use, fast wake-up and operation; all advanced functions including MLU are available through on-camera controls, not through menu;

excellent dynamic range, good available light performance up to ISO800 (but not in incadescent light);

Sigma Photo Pro software is great, easy in use and 100% free!

Problems:

4xNiMh batteries usually don't last more than 150 shots - use of CRV3 or RCRV3 or power grip is strongly recommended.

Low incadescent light is noisy for Foveon sensor.
