Pentax Optio SVi review

Great as 2nd camera. You do not expect a fast autofocus at this category, so if you need a really responsive camera look higher.
There are selections for resolution and selections for quality (* or ** or ***). Battery life is reasonable, although I'd always rather have a spare. To have 5x zoom and 5Mega pixels at this size with this lens quality at this price (In Swiss Francs 400.- Approximately $300.- January 2006) makes this camera particularly interesting.

I wish it was black. The camera's body reflection can be annoying in some circumstances such as photographing through a window. True for many such models.
Autofucus works bad with poor light, especially with artificial light.
Same opening for accessing the battery and card.
The battery compartment at the bottom, positioned opposite the on/off and photo taking buttons. One might accidentally switch on while attempting to open the battery compartment.
