Nikon Coolpix L6 review

Stylish, ergonomic, nice-look camera.
Almost perfect automatic mode image quality.
In general, good small camera. Very good results in normal light conditions (day or powerful lightening indoor).

Very disappointing that there are no focus-assistant lamp. It is present, but it's named as 'self-timer' lamp and specially limited (to show only time delay for self-timer). It may work as focus-assistant lamp but I think it specially turned off, may be for next version of camera. Will be nice if Nikon make a new firmware with turned on this feature.
It's a very big minus. In low-light conditions there are some problems with focusing, it take quite long time and sometime fails.

Another a bit strange "feature" -- it is white balanse in night mode. It's a very "yellow". Not natural. And very noisy... there are no way to control ISO, it's always highest (nosiest) possible in low light room and with mode "night landscape".

Small lens can't show 6Mpx on image, details are 'blured'. So, I think, there are no sense to use 6Mpx. Settings in 3Mpx will be enough. You'll put more images on SD-card, and this resolution is enough to print photos ~18*13 cm.
