Casio Exilim EX-Z1050 review

Replacement for an EX-Z750, which has the dreaded "Lens Error". I'm sort of happy with this as a follow-on, especially with a brighter LCD and a better color balance. Even with 10MP, though, it's definitely not better than it's predecessor. The one thing that is better, is the price is much less.

Right now I'm still playing with it - I find many images are overly soft and I don't know why. This model also lost the viewfinder, mode dial and the dock (cradle). Also, the flash is definitely less powerful - I suspect they did this to retain the excellent battery life figure. The Z750 could easily flash a room, but with this camera I feel I have to get much closer to the subject matter.
