Casio Exilim EX-Z1050 review
I bought this camera based on the good previews given by the people reviewing the camera in here (dpreview). However I was initially disappointed by the amount of noise generated in the pictures taken, even in bright light especially. Then I compared the pictures with those from Ixus 750 and realized that the ISO settings are probably too high for what is required. Whilst the camera will take a bright albeit blur picture, the Ixus gives a black picture which is unusable. Narrowed it down to ISO and exposure time; with ISO 80, all the pictures come out great.
ISO setting on auto cannot be relied on.
The 2.6" screen doesn't have any ready-made screen protectors available but the LCD itself is protected by a plastic panel so that's good.
