Nice camera. We upgraded from the Casio Exilim Z750 mostly for the 3 inch LCD. We never used the view finder on the Casio so it didn't matter much.
So far I've enjoyed using the Canon. Photo quality in the AUTO mode seems to do very well and the Face Detection is right on!
Problems:
No battery indicator, which has been mentioned before. We've never used the battery or gotten caught with a dead battery, but an indicator would be nice.
Can't modify the flash intensity. This is a big bummer for us. There seems to be a lot of over powered flashes when indoors. The Casio had this feature and we miss it.
Inability to always zoom when recording a movie.
