Samsung L830 review

former camera was a kodak V550. the images on the samsung are head and shoulders better in indoor flash shots. up to iso800 is usable straight out from camera. the outdoor shots are pretty good to with faily good dr for a compact. movie mode is nice and the mic is pretty sensitive. the only thing that i am disappointed with is that sometimes the time between shot to shot can seems long because the screen is blanked out until the camera is ready for the next shot, but the delay is probably not any longer than any other camera, you just can't start composing your shot right away and snap your shot as soon as the camera is able to. the camera is also much lighter than the V550.

Problems:

- doesn't remember image size setting when moving between shooting modes.
- doesn't focus while zooming.
- lcd screen disable until flash is completely charged or until camera is ready to shoot another shot.
- can't cancel out the a shot review until the review times out.
- opening the battery/sd card door tends to pop out the battery also.
