Canon PowerShot A530 review
Very good cheap camera, I used for many vacations and tourist tours. The quality of the imges is good, with good details, good color and contrast. The perfect camera during the day. At night... see below.
Very good auto focus system, with helping lamp (never had a bed picture, out of the thousends taken).
At night, it suffers when excluding the flash, because any picture taken at ISO over the 200 is unacceptable (400 and especially 800 is very noisy, and grainy).
I would have appreciate a lot a shutter/aperture priority mode, that is absent. Considering that it is not present a "sport" mode in the "scenes" selection, it is not possible to force a fast shutter speed, and this can be a problem when taking a picture of a moving subject, or from a moving car...
