Pentax K100D Super review
Only problems with this camera, from the beginning.
I've bought Pentax K100D Super in november 2007. Now my camera is second time in service.
I've got lot of underexposed, dark photos, with poor contrast and unnatural colours. Even on a sunny day camera has problems with white balance (yellow/brown cast) and exposure. Blue sky looks gray on photographs taken by my Pentax.
It's hard to make corrections, because camera's LCD "lies" -almost all photos look quite good on this screen and ugly on big monitors.
Editing .jpg's using Pentax's Photo Laboratory is impossible, because it doesn't accept this format(works only with .raw) !
I have five sets of recheargable batteries (NiMH 2500mAh), but my camera 'likes' only two of them. Other ones, properly charged, are completely useless in my Pentax - on LCD blinks: 'battery depleted'. These 'empty' batteries work without any problems in Canon A 80.
I've found five damaged pixels - two bright green dots, two blue ones and one almost white - all of them visible on full size and even half size watching.
