Sony Alpha DSLR-A700 review

For the current price, the Sony a700 is the best
camera on the market. The CMOS sensor combined
with the features and the layout of the controls (the
BEST of any camera on the market at this price and
even if you paid $1,000 more).

The AF speed is superb, and the layout of the controls
is extremely useful, particularly compared to other

A couple of things that could have made this camera
even better would be one more customizable button.
Also, I'm not crazy about the Sony software, but given
how good this camera is, I really can't complain.

I use a Canon at work, but prefer the Sony by a mile
because of the layout of the controls, all of the
features, the quality of the build, and the
responsiveness of the focus and shutter, and (what
it's all about) the quality of the images (the Canon's
have great image quality, but so does the a700 thanks
to the CMOS sensor).
