Pentax Optio 33L review

Pentax's Optio 33L camera has a handy swivelling LCD (180 degress-it can be at the
top, face the back of thr camera for example), 3.2MP and unique 3D image mode.

The zoom lens is a Pentax 3x (38-114mm) which is quite sharp and no sign of
barrel distortion or chromatic aberration.

Scene modes include surf and snow, sktech (makes the captured image look like a
illustration),digital filter (add interesting color effects-eg. B&W+red, sepia and so
on), atuo bracketing-including the usual exposure bracketing (adjustable in +1.3/-
1.3 inxrements up to -2.0/+2.0 and ssaturation, contrast, and WB bracketing).3D
mode (for stereoscopic images),P (program) and potrait.

Continous shooting includes both a standard continous shooting option (saves
each image one by one )and a HS (high speed mode-captures 3 images in quick
sucession and saves them at the end).

The swivelling screen is excellent for shooting in any situation-you can position it
any way you like (up to 180 degress rotation) and the image quality is fine for a
3.2MP camera
