Fujifilm FinePix F200EXR review
Not bad while it lasted (Oct 10-Dec 30), but sensor died after less than 3 months, 1477 pictures to be precise.
Picture quality was decent, video nothing to write home about. Camera was a little on the heavy side, felt solid, but...
The sensor died suddenly after only a few months of pretty normal (family, travel) use. Playback still worked fine but camera and video mode just showed (and recorded) black with a little bit of snow. Fujifilm USA claimed that I had not adequately protected the camera and would not cover the repair.
What could I do? Buy a Canon or Nikon or Olympus, all of which have lasted years under similar usage. Perhaps I just got a bad one, but I won't miss this Fuji or ever buy another.
