Fujifilm FinePix XP10 / Fujifilm FinePix XP11 review

Bought this as an additional small camera that provided
some water and environment resistance. The case is metal
and seems durable. Fairly solid overall. Features are
average for small cameras these days, but the menu display
could be made better. The buttons on the back are very
small making it difficult to cursor with the 4 way. Though
it's fairly easy to use, the flash is underpowered for regular
close shots, and the image quality varies. I find the best
photo are when there is a lot light. Otherwise low light
photos or shadow areas are grainy. Auto white balance,
will vary except for daylight. It's a center auto-focus so I
find myself taking a second photo to make sure it's in focus
since point and shoot is not a guarantee. Underwater is
actually OK. Video is OK, not great. But for $139 at Costco
including 4 Gb memory and case, it wasn't a big
investment. I think it's a good throw around camera at the
beach, or something good for a child that wants a digital

Image quality inconsistency.

Poor flash
