Real Good Glass

Very much also it is very quite good. I don't have HG&SHG series lenses, therefore can compare only to a series the standard. It is made well. A matte rough covering which in photos looks as metal, actually plastic. It is spoiled, but it is not critical. (I managed a lens 2008г sales and it looks normally) Blenda is big.

The image:
It was pleasant to me. The balance white a little gets off at flash use. I have a hammered temperature on 5600К and so withdraws in warm colors a little. But it is not enough.
The sharp.
at 1.4 is softy. At minimum DOF - it is difficult to pick up a plot.

SIGMA on 2.0 is sharper than a pancake on 2.8. Subjectively, certainly.
Speed of focusing: it is difficult to tell. A little slow, loves light.
However, I on Е-500 have the oldest module of an auto focus. Most likely, I have easy backfocus, but has decided not to worry. It has conveniently appeared that the focusing ring mechanic is connected with the block of lenses. Conveniently after a shot - to "curtail" on infinity what to be guided once again.

Nearest "contender" a pancake - it cool - but 2.8, and Leica - but it costs used in 2,5-3 times more expensively, than sigma. I couldn't allow myself it.
For a family album - it is very good.
