Review for the Canon PowerShot SX110 IS

The best thing about this camera is the 10x optical zoom. I am able to capture so much from afar and without jeopardizing too much picture quality. This camera is great in good lighting and can take very beautiful shots. It can however be grainy in low-light conditions. Autofocus is excellent in good lighting, while being accurate 50% of the time in extremely low light. Controls are simple and intuitive. Build quality is great - I actually dropped the camera down a hill during a hike. It rolled through bushes, dirt, rocks, and braches down about fifty feet, and besides getting dirty and receiving a few unremarkable scratches, nothing else was wrong. Overall, it is an excellent point and shoot.

Problems:

The one major drawback is the shutter delay. Coupled with flash, it can be even worse. Very slow shutter delay.
