Cheap camera, cheap results (disappointing)
After using several Powershot A's and an IXUS 90IS as a companion to my dSLR's I bought this camera after the IXUS took a hit on the street. The thing is cheap, but so were other Canon Powershot A's. The image quality of this thing however is terrible in comparisson.
The main problem is noise. Loads of noise, chroma noise, noise canceling artifacts and softness. Overexposure outside, lack of contrast with flash. But mainly, noise, noise, noise. Even in the brightest conditions you are hit with loads of noise.
Trying to get rid of this thing, the photo quality is what I'd expact from a 40 euro YingYang C brand. Not from Canon. 9 out of 10 photos are crap.
