Fat , unhealthy Mississippi passes 'anti-Bloomberg bill,' banning local limits on portion sizes

Once again, in fact the ninth year in a row, Forbes has concluded that Mississippi is the unhealthiest of the 50 states to live in.

The author of the bill, state Sen. Tony Smith, who owns the Stonewall's BBQ  chain, was inspired to write it because of Mayor Bloomberg’s push to cut down  the size of sodas served in restaurants and convenience stores to 16 ounces.  Smith said government has no business telling people what they cannot eat or  drink.

Joe, your an idiot. Fat or not, they are right. It is not someone else's right to force them to be healthy. It amazes me that there is no shortage of things liberals are fine at having government regulate. How can you love government that much? It twisted and sick. Look in the mirror and get a grip on life. THIS IS NOT THE ROLE OF OUR GOVERNMENT.

Look Joe, if you want to lose weight and get in better shape go outside for a walk, join a GYM, buy a diet/exercise book, consume less calories every day.

You don't need the government to do it for you.........go on!!  YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!

Natural selection (reduction in the breeding population of the dumb) is probably a good idea in the US. Good for Mississippi.

It's a good idea for every country, except that the "dumb" are the one's that breed the most. Then they vote people into office that will promise them the most government goodies. It's a downward society spiral.

Always remember, whenever you declare someone the dumbest person on Earth, someone else will stare at their screen intently, cross their arms and say ‘Challenge accepted’.
