I like it but doesn't look natural, and for that reason, I like the other version better.

Re: the lady of page

Your point is valid there, David... but it is a revisit and usually ladies do like to change their looks

Will do another color temp matching the first, was just getting my hands dirty on photoshop.

Thanks for looking guys.

That's it.  Perfect enhancement of the existing colors.

+1 What David Said

This one is a lot easier to view and explore.  I think the earlier one had more superficial appeal.

Wonderful Pics.

The OP is a master of color both subtle and bold, not to mention composition.  Click through to the Flickr set.  The pastel tones on some of these are just exquisite. You can't buy the artist's eye from Canon or Nikon.

Verrrrrry nice work!

I have to ask: what's the point of the image? It succeeds if it's to be used as background to some surreal scene in a videogame, or impressing someone with no knowledge of either light or nature. Personally, I'm not a big fan of images that look like they could be created entirely out of photoshopping skills. Having seen such places personally, images like this strike me as too fake, too gaudy, and abstract enough to be separated from their context.

On the other hand, the composition is really excellent! This is a good example of a nature scene that may work best in black and white. Please re-do in black and white!

Of course.....these are entirely my opinions and are worth all of what you paid for them!

Bring back the Violet! ($.02)

Oh bring back those magenta hues!!!  just a little, please!

Perhaps a bit much saturation in the first, but still better than none at all.

Great shot but oh my that upper spectrum color adds a lot!

Orange+Violet is magic.

Re: the lady of page

Since you've been there I'd love to see your black and white rendition! I may learn a bit or two. I've seen black and white photos of the place but aren't we drawn there to see how the sunlight changes along the curves?
