LR4.4 and Raw, couple quick new edits
1

I used the jpegs of these images in the past, and filed the RAW files away for well, when the Lightroom Raw update came. Here is a quick hit on two images that I feel show better RAW detail than I was seeing before. Both were done in LRoom, then did some basic adjustments for tone and color, before using USM in photoshop for sharpening. I feel they give a more 3d and textured look. Jpegs are also included, theses are just crops of the original Fuji jpegs files, I believe using ProNegS setting

Overall, I still prefer the jpegs for their' color and tone. I'm fairly sure this could easily be duplicated using the RAW files in LR simply by recovering the shadows a bit and tweaking the color.

I definitely prefer the jpeg of the frog as the RAW conversion is too contrasty to my eyes.

Mike,

I agree with the previous comment - the frog JPEG looks more natural; perhaphs reducing the RAW contrast would help.
