1000D + Windows 7 = no tethering ?

Hello, did anyone succeed in getting Windows 7, and Canon 1000D working in tethering (on any software) ?

Problem is Windows 7 can't even recognise it as a DSLR, but it can only as a (memory) disk. Any solution ?

I tried in Lightroom 3 or even official Canon EOS software and it can't. Thanks a lot!

Re: 1000D + Windows 7 = no tethering ?

I used to be able to tether my XS to my windows 7 laptop using EOS utility. I don't recall ever having a problem with it, although I didn't do it very frequently.

Once the camera is conected, open up EOS utility. Is the "Camera settings/Remote shooting" option lit up or greyed out?

Be sure you've upgraded (free) to the most recent version of the Canon EOS Utility.
