[HELP] GE Digicam J1470S DRAINING BATTERY EVEN SWITCH OFF
Leaving my fully-charged Li-ion battery mounted in my GE Digicam J1470S turned off for 2 days, emptied my battery?
Is this normal? With your digicam, do you have problems like this?
It's brand new and I already send it to the store where i bought it, they already change the battery but still the same... Their tech guy says it normal which is opposite in my side. I need your opinion and how ABOUT your camera too?... thanks in advance..
This has happened to me with a Nikon Coolpix camera. Its battery was also depleted in a few days while the camera was turned off. Happened just three months after buying, so got my money back. A defective chip...
thanks for the replies, more replies may help me.. I will present all these as a proof that digital cameras with such battery doesn't drain that much in 48 hours... i already post in yahoo answers but got only four replies... please help me..
Are you sure that your battery is not draining by itself outside the camera in 48 hours? That's how they often die. Get a cheap digital volt meter and check what the battery is doing by itself.
Also, old batteries do not hold as much charge.
