family photo

I got this photo from a friend that asked me to see if I can do anything to it to make it look like it did 25 years ago. I'm having trouble finding the right white balance and when I do, it seems the original photograph has a lot of yellow "colored in" on everybody's neck, on the mom's glasses, and at some spots on a few faces. Would love to see what you all can do with it or if you can tell me how to get it look like it did!

Re: retouching trouble

thanks for everyone's help!  I love the work you can do and especially helping me with how you achieved it.  It looks like I need to purchase yet another program !!

Babine,  I think with removing color casts, etc yours looks closest to the original!.

I'm always learning,

I like that you can say something stupid to your dog and it will look at you as it to say, " Wow! That's' fascinating. That never would have occurred to me."
