FZ200 - Few pictures from Canada
I wanted to travel light without my DSLR and heavy lenses during the X-mas time and New Year. I did some research on the internet and Panasonic FZ200 was the winner... Newer used Panasonic before and was pleased with result considering what you get for money.
Well I have two things to point as less good, ISO below 800 is not so good in my opinion and built in panorama in low light situation produce vertical darker lines... otherwise panorama works nice in good light conditions.
Few pictures from trip...
I don't know Ralf, but it sure looks like the FZ200 is doing a nice job for you. Did you soften the area around the owl in #1? The bokeh seems to be more abrupt than one normally sees. My favorites are #2 and #4.
Thanks Jerry... Yes I soften little bit round the owl for some work in which I used this shot...
According to fine images you had a good trip, Ralf.. going light - I'm 100% with you! (with LX5 in my pocket, LOL ).. lovely series, adorable colors.. good eye, thanks for sharing ..
Nice series; I like the owl picture best.
I'm really envious of the owl shot! Heck, I'd love to see an owl coming at me that close whether I got a picture or not!
Boy, only chickadees are that bold, aren't they?
How can you not love a great dog shot like that?
Did you use HDR on the scenery shot? The color and composition are really nice!
Very nice. I like the bird in the hand. That one I would frame and hang on my wall. It's really special.

Take only photographs, leave only footprints.
Thanks Bruno, glad you like it
Hi Roy. This little bird was Black-capped Chickadee (Poecile atricapillus) Glad you like it.
Hi Jerry. Landscape shot was photographed in the late afternoon and the light was great. I didn't used HDR technique on this shot only some Photoshop. Glad you like it
