Nex5N vs Nex5R
Hi, I'm considering to get a Nex5. Should I go for Nex5n with two kit lenses or Nex5r? Thank you.
If you do not need WIFI or PDAF (which is a bit faster than CDAF) and Apps you should
go for the 5N which is quite cheap these days. The Picture quality is almost the same.
I had a 5N and the AF was totally unreliable in lower light. For instance, about 50% of my pictures, using AF, at my daughters graduation focused on people way behind her and her friends. VERY annoying! Sold it on Ebay.
The 5N gives great quality when you want to spend time, but as a point and shooter, it sux. I would go for the 5R. Hopefully it is an improvement.
A few pics
I had the 5N and the N6 which has the same sensor than the 5R and I could not
find any difference.
I took many many good shots with my 5N but than I have decided to go for the 6
which kept exactly for 12 days and now I own the NEX-7 which I love
(I found somebody who wanted to get rid of his NEX-7 so we swapped 1:1 the
