** The Weekly Post Process Opportunity - Fri 16th Nov to Thu 22nd Nov**
2

This is a weekly repository for 'nearly good' or damaged photographs for others to have a go at post processing.

Last week was the first week. I threw an image in to get things going, but basically this is for everyone to fix some often Lumix specific issues, in a thread where we all possibly learn more about post processing along the way.

Anyone can post an ailing photo. Anyone can have a go at processing it into a keeper.

I'm more than happy to administer the weekly launch of this thread if a few people benefit from it.

And you know me - throw some humour in there whenever appropriate; even if it's as bad as mine.

OK I'll go again then. I really don't want this to be just my dodgy photos though. Surely we're not all perfect at post processing?

This one is from my nearly collection. I score is 7/10. It was taken in black and white, and although nice enough, I'm wondering if more can be made of it, or part of it?

John I do not know what you were on taking the shell shot but you really screwed that one..

I have a hunch you screwed it up in pp for us to get lost... and for our sake  saving your repsheat... LOL

I advise you not to print this one..

What else to do on a bone chilling day . Hope winter is swift this year.

No. No PP. The shot posted is OOC.

The idea is not to start perfect and work backwards, but take examples of 'nearly's' and endeavour to make them work.

Re: In Doublin's Fair City..

I like what you've done with that Bruno. The larger muscles set to stand up bottom right there is very effective.

Trim and border just add class.

Way off my Radar this one. I would never have thought to do this. The splash of red really works too.

Re: It's a draw!

What I like here is how the edges of the muscles are pretty much all given the same treatment. The subsequent pattern to it all intriguing.

Seafood Restaurant Mural

It's a bit "Over the Top" but adding fun colors and printed poster size might "Whet your Appetite" plastered on a large wall in a Seafood Restaurant.

Cheers

Re: ** The Weekly Post Process Opportunity - Fri 16th Nov to Thu 22nd Nov**

Thank you for this thread John.

Offered in the hopes of learning something, this scene struck me last week, but I could not figure out how to make a decent photo of it. I tried several angles, a b&w, and so on, and I'm convinced there's something to be seen here but I'm darned if I can find it.

Anyone?
