The P7700 lens..really better...

...than the G15? it seems so...

I've been comparing samples from some websites where they take similar photos with different cameras, and the P7700 seems better than the G15 (of course nowadays, you can't go wrong with any of these cameras)...the P7700 looks like a great camera (for what it is)...click to enlarge

Yeah, I noticed that some time ago and mentioned it, Nikon takes it. Canon better get in the game.

You have to be careful comparing shots that have been taken at different times as they often are apples to oranges but from my side-by-side shooting of both P7700 being better has been my impresion as well. Also, I have found P7700's image stabilization working better for me and extra zoom range covering my need much better. In the end I felt P7700 was much better fit for me. Now if only RAW+JPG write times weren't so dog slow I wouldn't have anything to complain about.

Image stabilization is amazing in this gem. I tend to get sharp shots at 8 times slower shutter speed! it's a keeper.
