This is some recognition
1

Someone sent me a link to some fabulous and amazing shots posted on the National Geographic site by people all over the world. I tried my luck and posted a shot, and after a couple pf says, it was chosen as one of the daily dozen. I am very pleased, even though I think I'm not nearly in the same league as many of the others on that site.

Wow, Dov. You are on the roll...

Please repost that photo here. It is kind of blurry and downsized on the NG website.

For members who may not know (since it doesn't show on the linked page) his excellent entry is the B/W of the elderly gentleman giving a glass of water to the elderly woman.

Congratulations

Well deserved recognition.  It's especially rewarding to be selected by such a notable periodical that has published some of the most famous photos in history.

Re: This is some recognition

That WAS a good shot Dov. Certainly up to NG standards, and though you may not be an american National, your frequent excellent posts show a fairly eclectic Geographic distribution that give us all vicarious insight on interesting facets of the the human experience. Thanks for posting them.
