My first pics with my new X-E1.

I'm very impressed. A great cam!

(Fuji X-E1, XF 35mm, LR3.6, 1600Px)

Best regards!

Is the vignetting part of the mode or have you added a filter?

Nice photos...are these from the camera or your own b/w conversions?

How is the evf?  I was able to try out a pre-production X-E1 and I loved the camera but the evf was very choppy and laggy.

This vignetting is an effect from my own made Lightroom preset.

Maybe a little bit to strong...

I would like to see some photos taken with the f stop not wide open all the time. Every poster so far feels a need to shoot at f1.4 etc.

I agree. But many buy lens based on largest aperture, so we feel the need to use that aperture all the time and brag of the image (though sometimes it's not that interesting at all). Sucks but that's psychology.

To the OP, the IQ of the images are superb, but honestly, I see nothing special about the images. The first picture is probably the best.

Keep goin' at it. That camera will teach you lots! Don't forget to share!

There seems to be something wrong with your color output of your camera. Are the color photocells in your sensor bad? In the old days B&W was all we had, but it's 2012 and there is a thing called "color photos".

Ha ha, very funny.  I wish someone other than Leica (i.e., much lower cost) made a monochrome-only camera.  If it were micro 4/3, I would buy one immediately.  Why nor Fuji?

So have you already sent your faulty E-PL1 for repair?
