Any IOS 6 Issues for iPad3 or iPhone?
Not for me - iPhone 4, 4s and 5, iPad 3
My iPad 2 seems to be running exactly the same with iOS 6. No better, no worse. Well, I do like the new application update mechanism.
Having said I haven't had any issues, there's a good summary of the kinds of issue that have been reported here:
None of them have affected me, but ...
...went flawlessly. I was worried about my VPN and some other applications, plus space - my 64 gig iPad is almost full. However, everything went smoothly.
No issues for iPad 1, iPad 3, iPhone 4 and iPhone 5. The IOS brings SIRI to the iPad 3, BTW.
Now to Maps... I have had excellent results with the new Map app. So the reported issues must be area specific. If this might be a concern you can try it out at an Apple store or you can also use the Google Map web-app. It appears that Apple has recognized that their new Map app is lacking in some locations so expect to see upgrades quickly. Never-the-less, it works great for me, as good as Google Map did.
There are some 200 added features advertised in the update. Which of these might be good or bad for you is up to your own evaluation but I personally like the update. IT is solid and I've not heard of nor experienced any issues.

My iPad 2 is noticeably slower after IOS6, but more worrying is the fact the screen appears to be far less sensitive than it was. At first I thought it was just one program I was using, but I am now noticing it on several programs.
Browsing around shows that other people are having screen sensitivity problems as well.
And Maps is a total disaster here in Taiwan. Apparently, my kids now go to school in the local public library! Oh, yes, there's now no public transport in Taipei. Definitely beta software, and very annoying.

No problems except for "occasionally" incorrect mapping. On iPad 3, iPhone 4, and iPhone 5. I have used TomTom App for turn by turn instructions for several years, so the turn by turn unstructions didn't interest me.
Only my opinion. It's worth what you paid for it. Your mileage may vary! ;-}
