A few pics from the Mt Isa Rodeo

Hello everyone, a few photos below from the Mt Isa Rodeo taken with my trusty E-30 and 50-200mm. Some were quite low light in the afternoon. It was my first time shooting this type of event so C&C is certainly welcome...

Thanks for looking!
David

I think there has to be a better way to earn a living than that. Amazing nobody gets killed. Good action shots. Seem pretty clear, contrasty and sharp. Some seem a little dark on my monitor, but could be my monitor. Tried calibrating it and its about as good as its going to get but leaves something to be desired.

Looks awfully painful... for the men & the animals. Hope no one got killed or seriously hurt :-/ The one shot with what looks like a downed rider getting stomped on made my heart hurt.

The photos are pretty good for the conditions, but since they are backlit (side-lit?) some seem a little dark.

You have some great action shots here. I haven't done a rodeo yet but I'll keep a look out for one in Townsville....I want to have a go.
