my Tokina AF 100mm f/2.8 AT-X M100 Pro D Macro Lens not auto focusing

Hi guys

I just received my Tokina AF 100mm f/2.8 AT-X M100 Pro D Macro Lens and it is not autofocusing on my D7000 (when I use it as a short telephoto). Does anyone has an idea how to fix this? any answer will be appreciated.

When I am shooting macro, I will use it on manual focus.

Don't suppose it is something as similar as the limiter switch? It should autofocus with the D7000 so, as I say, try the focus limiter switch and if that doesn't work sounds like a fault.

Push Pull AF Switch

Your problem might be the unique Tokina push pull AF/MF switch action associated with the focus ring.

I have on occasion overlooked this and wondered why my lens AF didn't work! John
